There are probably better fights out there for Floyd but at the time, i don't think there was.

Rios has a big mouth, hope somebody shuts it up soon.
Just checked the top 10 welterweights according to Boxrec. Seriously quite weak. I guess Ortiz it had to be. Light-welterweight is a lot stronger division.

    1 Manny Pacquiao
    2 Victor Ortiz
    3 Shane Mosley
    4 Andre Berto
    5 Jan Zaveck
    6 Mike Jones
    7 Sebastian Andres Lujan
    8 Kell Brook
    9 Said Ouali
    10 Viacheslav Senchenko

lol... yeah... But he'll have to take the test. There's no way Floyd will risk his "legacy" in a pillow fight without drugtest.

Brutal beating is not likely, but I could see Ortiz quitting again, and that won't do well for his career.

Maybe we should change his nick name to El Envidioso, because against Mayweather, Ortiz has the bigger chance. Maybe Bam Bam should shut up and start leaning some skills because the best have to have skills and power and they don't get there with only one of those two.

He gave Arturo Gatti, Diego Corrales, and Angel Manfredy pretty bad beatings. And I'm sure you would agree!

The falling out between the Garcia brothers and their fighters is very strange, especially when you look at it from the outside.

Robert Garcia who seems like a nice guy, trains Margacheato and potty mouth ****** Rios.

                  vs.

Danny Garcia who also seems like a nice guy, trains rags to riches orphan Victor Ortiz.

It's obvious who to side with, but I'm sure it's more complicated than that.

I do not disagree with that but they werent career ending beatings, He beat Corrales and Gatti comprehensively but it wasnt such a bad beating where either couldnt have continue their respective careers, He probably "Damage" his opponent more in a mental way than physical way and this is coming from a massive Mayweather fan here.
