Another one who doesn't take Lewis to task for NOT training properly for a title fight.... as if we're giving him a free pass for taking opponents lightly... keep on respecting the fact that he didn't train properly for Johnson... pathetic to say the least & Klitschko does the same thing to his opponents & if they're not intimidated by his lean & mean glare.. as soon as they get hit by him they crawl into there shells. Vitali intimidates them outside of the ring & MOST importantly inside the ring.... one poster said he makes them cry after they fight him while Tyson & Foreman made them cry before the bell sounded... now i ask which one is more fugazy? Crying at the thought of getting hit when in reality that is an unfounded fear...... or crying after you got your aSSS handed to you & your worst fears came to fruition?
Emanuel Steward says Vitali Klitschko is the most intimidating HW of all time

I honestly don't understand how people say Vitali isn't an ATG or HOF?
The only close fight he's been in his entire career was a fight he was actually winning in Lennox Lewis. Granite Vitali came as a late replacement and Lewis wasn't expecting to fight him, but still.
All the great fighters in the history of boxing have had at least 1 close fight during their tenure at the top. Why is Vitali any different?
Besides Mayweather and a prime Roy Jones, Vitali has dominated boxing the same if not more than the fighters I just mentioned. Although he holds his hands low, he rarely gets hit. His opponent punch-land ratio is sitting around 18%, while Mayweather's is 16%.
He's not one of my favorite fighters, but I have to give props where props is due. Wlad has a better chance of losing than Vitali and Wlad rarely loses so thats saying something.Comment

It's poster's like you that turn me into a nuthugger when I'm not even the biggest fan of the fighter I'm defending.
As soon as you tell me who's been a significant HVWT besides Lewis/Wlad, in the last 15 years, I'll tell you who he beat.Comment

Exactly, it ends right there. Regardless of what, he doesn't have the kind of quality opponents that Foreman/Ali/Marciano ect had to solidify their legacy. You can't solidify anything if you don't have at least some decent opponents. Sam Peter is his best win? Peter is strong and everything, but he has no skill, is over rated and i had him losing to Toney in their first fight. Its not Vitali's fault by the way, but hes not ATG because of his lack of quality opponents.Comment

Your only currently active, not banned account, yes. Perhaps. Or do you want me to believe you coincidentally reposted Steelhammer2011's marquee post earlier this thread? It's not like you're subtle or something.
How am I being racist?Comment
