This is ****ing sad man. I feel bad for Ortiz. Anytime I hear ****ed up stories about **** like this it makes me want to root for the fighter but I think he will still lose.

i honestly would thank her for leaving me like i was nothing because it help make me the man he is today. and then after that i would tell her never to call me or look for me ever again. dont even refer to me as your son because she is a ***** doing that to him and his brother.

yo can anyone answer me why he never mentions his foster parents? remember them from the ortiz/maidana promo? they seemed like they came in to take care of ortiz at his most vulnerable. . . for like 5-7 years before his talent was recognized by garcia, and then his sister was old enough to become his legal guardian. he could ahve had ****ty foster parents who stifled his boxing development.

Win or lose against Floyd, Ortiz has already showed that he is the better man. Floyd should take some notes from this guy. His mom left him at such a young age and he still forgave her.She left him in a much worst condition than Floyd Sr left Lil Floyd. At least Floyd Sr taught his son how to fight and make a career out of boxing. Ortiz's mom left him and his brother with a bum father with nothing. Floyd Jr should be thankful his dad pointed him in the direction that has made him millions of dollars. I know it hurt him when his dad got locked up, but he should have found it in his heart to forgive him. That shows you a man's character. And until Floyd shows his dad the proper respect, he will never be the man that Ortiz is.

He's a bigger man for it!!! There is nothing for him to be still upset over because the experience made him a better person and made him work harder to achieve and prove his parent wrong, he obviously isn't dumb enough to reward her with his hard earn money.

Victor Ortiz is a good guy and have to give him props for doing this because I probably would have kept her at a distance. Sounds like the only reason she reached out again is because he was/is becoming famous. Not feeling the fact that she left him on stuck and started a whole new family. That was/is pure wackness. She should count her blessings to have given birth to a guy like Ortiz. She should also be ashamed for bouncing on him and his brother. Props to Victor Ortiz though. Respect.
