I'm not sure if this was planned all along. If not, it just goes to show you this fight needs a lot of help gaining more interest.

In CBS/Pac deal, that strategy was already pre-planned. Maybe GPB/HBO is looking at that as a success, so they're trying to copy it.

What people saw on 24/7 is just a show. This is the true story behind that fight on tv. We all know that Floyd Mayweather Sr. is a convicted drug dealer and is supplier for Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s needs. Now to show the public that Floyd Jr. has nothing to do with his father Floyd Sr...they have to stage a fight on tv. They will try to convince the people that Floyd Jr. has nothing to do with his drug dealer father. Remember what Floyd Sr. said in one of his interviews..."what ever they do, they are still father and son".
