It could've been but I doubt it. Floyd Sr wasn't the best father to a young Mayweather with him being abusive and getting locked amongst other things. Floyd had a lot of anger built up and he just let it all out with that little rant. Do I think Floyd took it to far? Yes

Was Floyd wrong for what he did? I don't think so. Floyd Sr needs to tone down his ego, the guy walks around like he is the best trainer ever. He wants all the glory for Floyd s success when really he doesn't deserve ALL of it. He needs to understand that Roger is Floyd's trainer and that he needs to just play dad and nothing else.
