ESPN reports that it will plan to broadcast 48 live boxing shows on ESPN2 next year, 2006, an increase from the 40 the network aired during 2005. Thirty of the telecasts will take place on the long running Friday Night Fights series, which returns in January from its autumn hiatus. The other 18 shows will air on a “Wednesday Night Fights” series that will run between the months of April and August. No mention was made if ESPN will increase its financial commitment to improve the competitive quality of the broadcasts.

In my opinion Espn announcers are the best when it comes to boxing! I like the line up of brian kenny, joe tessatorie and teddy atlas! they give the most insight and best commentary! the only reason people like hbo is for nostalgia and status.
Show time has the worst by far!
I miss max kellerman on espn.
