Who is to say the fight with Khan would have been Bradley's last with Shaw? To make the fight with Khan, Bradley might have had to enter a new fixed length contract with Shaw, which he didn't want to do.

Most of you don't know jack shít about negotiations, promoters and their deals.

If Bradley doesn't fight by the end of January he should be removed from the divisional rankings and P4P rankings (he shouldn't even be rated top-10 anyway)...

Now there's no chance of crowning a new lineal champion at 140lbs.. smh

There was no fight extension, this was Bradleys last fight with shaw. Dan Rafeal confirmed this.

You dumb asses keep forgetting Bradley didn't mind taking another fight with Shaw, but he just didn't want Khan, because he didn't want to lose, and lose out on PAC.

Bradley was pissed that shaw couldn't find him some one other than Khan.

Because Bradley was afraid of Khan. The guys an idiot and a head butter.

This is just plain daft and naive. 'Bradley might have entered into a new fixed length contract with Shaw'. Err I would have thought that given he had 1 fight left on his contract or even a few months left to run he would have been in as strong a position as possible to say 'thanks, but no thanks'. He could have just said no and insisted that the Khan fight was the very last fight under Shaw. How hard could that have been? Everyone would have made their highest payday, and whilst not happy, Shaw would have had no choice to accept the situation.

How can Dan confirm anything??Oh I know its what Shaw told him,he has no clue what was in a contract between Shaw and Bradley..But what we all should know is Bradleys contract was up in June,a fight between Bradley and Khan would have been in July..That means there would have been an extension...Khan would not fight Bradley on Bradleys date and Bradley would not sign an extension to fight Khan on his date..But let's also not act like Dan does not work for HBO either bro..

from what I have been told by people who talk to all parties involved Bradley no longer wanted to fight under Shaw (lol?) regardless of the amount and who. At one point he WAS willing to fight for Shaw one more time but Shaw wanted a re-up in order to make that happen at that point Bradley said forget the entire thing and now is waiting a buyout similar to what Perro went through

                things should shake out soon

not true. Shaw was not requiring a contract extension. Bradley or Dunkin never even claimed that was the problem. Bradley's contract wit Shaw expired on June 30, 2011, and an agreement had been reached to extend the contract 23 days so that it expired after the Khan fight.

No one is to blame for this mess but Bradley. It seems he got terrible advice (from Dunkin or someone else). He probably didn't want to risk a potential 5 mil payday he feels he'l get against Pac at some point in '12 for a 1.4 mil payday against a fighter who would be extremely tough to beat.

I also find it interesting, bc bradley had been willing to take on all comers, and even called out Khan. Then, even after Khan went above and beyond by offering 50% of the British PPV $ (which probably would've made Bradley's purse over 1.7 mil when all was said and done), Bradley still turns it down.

Some fighters never learn- when u have a good offer - TAKE it. Ask Winky Wright how good his career went after turning down a 5 mil offer to fight a rematch against Taylor bc he thought he was worth more. And ask Marquez how much longer it took his career to get back on track after turning down 750K for a Pac rematch, and then fighting and losing to John for 30k in Indonesia. It took him years before he was back at the same point. And ask Angulo if we wished he took the 750K that was offered to fight Martinez last year. He hasn't made a dime since.

Now Bradley, who turned down 1.4 mil plus % of PPV will be sitting on the sidelines well into 2012. And if Pac-May finally happens then he'l be left without any big money fight, and will be begging HBO to give him his 1.3 mil option

Bradley just turned 28 3 days ago and is suppose to be in the prime of his career, instead he's put himself in this position between a rock and a hard place.. he should of just took the fight with Khan and win or lose. it wouldn't have been the end of his career(Then), sitting on the sidelines like this is hurting him more than a (entertaining)loss to Khan would have.. Just look at Berto, he was undefeated, lost to Ortiz and already has a fight lined up for the IBF title just 5 months later.. Even Maidana, lost to Khan and has bounced back making even more money these guys have really benefited from losing more than anything, Even Ortiz has.. not saying that Bradley would have lost to Khan for certain, but now when ever he does come back, If he loses he's done(far as making millions) he basically has to rebuild his career all over at mid 28.. and by that time fans will already be like Bradley who? .. Mean while Khan is positioning himself for a cash out fight with Floyd..

Seriously unless you are Bradley's baby momma..Stop it, you are embarassing your self big time. The july 23. date was verbally agreed by BOTH parties, untill Bradley withdrew. Bradley called Khan out, Bradley was offered his biggest payday EVER, Bradley had 1 fight left on the contract and acknowledged in a public interview that "where would he go if he lost to Khan"..Bradley went home to his kids and you,and screwed all 23 of his fans, millions of boxing and Khan fans over for the biggest title unification fight in boxing, in the process.
