Monte has heart, but he lost like 20 IQ points in that fight. Almost as bad as Briggs/Vitali, but that was just on another level of pain.
Valuev looked good in that fight. If Valuev can fight like he fought in that 8th round, chasing people down, throwing fast punches he could beat anyone in the game.......butttt he cant do that for 12 rounds or even 3 rounds, he is very slow, he isnt active enough.
Imagine Valuev if he was properly trained from birth to become a boxer? by someone like Emanuel or Vitali's trainer. He would be a beast.
he really isn't as bad as a lot of people say. . . of course he's going to be slower than guys 100 pounds lighter, but he still had decent speed for his size, and he could put combinations together. he started boxing very very late.
