My point is they could've found someone that would at least give the illusion that they had a chance. Nobody other than the people in this thread have ever heard of Zaveck. Berto vs Malignaggi, Jones, Brooks, Aydin, Alexander, a rematch with Callazo, maybe even a fight with Shawn Porter. I just wish HBO would force these types of prospect filtering matches.

Zaveck is a Champion bro,give Berto some credit for fighting a Champ and trying to win his second strap..IMO he should have been made this move,and I was calling for this fight for a while so I'm happy it's coming off tbh...

I'd like to see Zaveck win, but I don't think he will. And not because he'll be robbed, but because I think Berto is a little better. And I think he'll win a clear decision over Zaveck.

actaully , that is even more reason for berto to get hated on......berto is given a crack at title just after losing his...he did'nt even have to earn it.....he should 've atleast fight mike jones first....but it's all good tho, he got a good managemnet by his side...

yeah zavec is a no hoper dude. except that a lww collazo spanked and wobbled berto in their fight. and zavec is bigger, stronger and more skilled than collazo.
i'm mentioning collazo because i think is the closest comparison with what i expect in this fight.
and i'm not preparing any excuses tbh. if berto decisively beats zavec he's not gona ever fight in the us again so i don't need an excuse. for what this forum is worth anyway.
