Victor Ortiz should become the voice of boxing because he's makes a lot of sense. I feel the exact same way about Maynever his 40 victims at the time he beat them none of them were at their best and the guys he beat at welterweight the only one i got respect for is Mosley(but he was 39). Floyd is probably in the top 3 defensive fighters over the last 20 something years but i agree he is overrated and his 15- to- 20 pot shots a round don't really impress me.

Ortiz was killing himself to make 140, and is CLEARLY a much better fighter at welter.

Maidana would not even rematch Ortiz at 140, Vic would kill him at welter.

Guys who have boxed will likely understand what happened to Ortiz in that fight, clearly he has addressed those issues, he is no longer the green kid that fought Maidana, and that situation will never occur again. Mayweather is going to have to damn near kill that kid to stop him. Believe it.

I really would love to see Ortiz do it, he's saying all the right things, but let's be real Floyd is near genius in the ring. Ortiz will have to show something that no-one else has so far.
