Did the Pacquiao loss (and subsequent retirement) really play a part in starting the ******* abuse like some people around here like to joke about?
http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...s-tv-interview"There were drugs, my drug of choice was ******* and alcohol, hmm. ******* was recent, the last two years, last 2½ years, and I depended more on the alcohol than the *******," De La Hoya said.
"Last 2½ years" = roughly February/March 2009
De La Hoya vs. Pac = December 2008

Lol no! People are just ******ed. This is nothing new though. I love the sport of boxing but it does tend to spread poison in the lives of the fighters. So many of them end up punch drunk, addicted to drugs, or just a history of violence in their household. Alot of them end up with tragic lives.Did the Pacquiao loss (and subsequent retirement) really play a part in starting the ******* abuse like some people around here like to joke about?
