What's up with so many people being concerned with fighters personal issues?

It seems like every time I'm on BS there are so many people talking about a fighters finances, financial issues, domestic problems, sexuality, etc. Why would any of you even care? Nobody is perfect and everybody has skeletons in their closet. Who the hell is anybody to judge a man especially on a personal level? Personally, I wish all fighters the best but I only pay attention to what they do in the ring. Said fighter is gay, he's broke, his family is ***********al. Wtf? I would think that a lot of you were women.
