Ripped Gym at 4 Wych Elm, Harlow, CM201QP is Re-launching its award winning fight club on Saturday 3rd September 2011 from 1pm – 3pm and is being hosted by Jason ‘Method Man’ Matthews a former professional boxer and WBO Middleweight Champion from Great Britain in the Middleweight (160 lb) division.
Everyone is invited along to this open day (free) where you can get the chance to talk, train, take pictures and pick the brains of these greats on their techniques.
This is a rare chance to catch all these boxing stars on one day in the same place. Its a day not to missed.
James Cook (is a former European and British super middleweight boxing champion who in 2007 was awarded an MBE for "his outstanding work with the young people of Hackney's notorious Murder Mile". He also previously featured on the show The Secret Millionaire
Julius Francis a former British Heavyweight champion boxer - who participated in many noteworthy boxing matches in the 1990s and 2000s.
Daniel "Danny" Williams is a British heavyweight professional boxer best known for his 2004 knockout of Mike Tyson
Ian Napa is the former European bantamweight champion and is a former two time holder of the British bantamweight title
Darren Dyer (also known by his nickname The Phantome,) was a welterweight British boxer.
Mark Prince Former WBO light-heavyweight contender. Founder of the Kiyan Prince Foundation Mark Prince delivers a clear message emphasising changing young peoples attitudes towards knife crime.
Ripped Gym won Combat Zone Gym of the Year 2010 (as voted by the National Fitness Awards) and now aims to create a fit for purpose Boxing Academy for Harlow. The re-launch will specifically relate to boxing and will see the following boxing stars grace the Harlow Scene at Ripped with their presence
