If it was a high risk fight where he could realistically lose then eubank wanted to get PAID, money drove him more than chasing the belts or being a boxing legend, as long as he got the coin then he was happy enough

Is this some kind of joke? Lol Eubank got ****ing tonnes of exposure due to his showmanship, thats why the guy is a household name in every house in the UK ..Originally posted by cvtit really is too bad he never got the expose he desreved. a lot of boxers that don't have his talent get more exposure today than he ever did.
I think the opposite to what you said is the case, when you consider Herol Graham that is .. Herol was even more talented than Eubank but Herol didn't have anywhere near the exposure that Eubank got ..Last edited by theclawoftheTiger; 10-18-2005, 12:11 PM.Comment

I see your point, thats Eubanks fault for not going over there .. he said himself that he was "content to stay a big fish in a small pond and make my money in the UK" ..Originally posted by cvti meant U.S. exposure...
It annoys me that Eubank has the cheek to slag off Amir Khan after just two professional fights, I couldn't believe that ..Comment

I think it was his "calling card" to be a trainer. I can see that he could be an excellent one. It took him so long to get the art of boxing just right before he stepped into the ring. From what JuyJuy wrote about him, he didn't have the natural gift of fighting in him...he had to learn it, step by step.Originally posted by theclawoftheTigerI see your point, thats Eubanks fault for not going over there .. he said himself that he was "content to stay a big fish in a small pond and make my money in the UK" ..

I think that's a mark of a good trainer.Comment

I have to agree with that. And Eubank never seemed to even need Ronnie Davies, it always seemed as if he just did his own thing with Ronnie just kind of supervising, it was weird.Originally posted by SnoopySmurfI think it was his "calling card" to be a trainer.
