the british system has only just gone from ref scoring fights in, i believe its a step forward, the refs job is to look after the fighters not to score, thats the beauty (and sometimes bummer) of boxing its subjective, no system is perfect

they should increase the amount of judges.

10 judges from every angle of the ring, you cant **** up with that many people can you?

I don't think a referee should score a fight. He or she has enough to watch to try to keep things rolling. No way they could acurately score a fight.

Maybe a good start would be to have judges under the age of 70


I would like to see the scores posted during the fight after each round.

Wow, a boxing scene first....we ALL agree on something ...that sole scoring sucks and it definately is NOT the answer. A few good ideas too; I like the 10 judges as long as theyre not tripping all over each other, and that 30 sec's inbetween rds could be used to "review" each rd. and for sure senior citizens have got to go. (think that takes care of glen hamada, david roth ??, duane ford, and so many more.)
