The guy has a great poker face to be fair, he's hurt but doesn't really show it, he'll have that same face all fight, only time he's showed it is when he was walking to the wrong corner in the Pacquiao fight LOL.

His chin is above average because he's took some bombs on his chin but the shots he don't see coming see to knock him down, has a great recovery strength though.

his legs are nowhere near what they used to be


where he used to be able to use footspeed to get away he's now forced to trade punches


and he's fighting much bigger men
great TV fighter
but he's going down against these guys, and would have serious issues at 135 against a true ****er like rios with all that size
i honestly think he's get stopped

katsidis is a true LW with big muscles who can punch
diaz wasnt hugely strong, but he kept coming in their first fight, and he was also a career LW


marquez also throws lots of combinations, bodyshots, uppercuts, an around your guard type hook
the stuff that's easiest to counter.



he's got first class recuperative powers
he's a truly great fighter. he's poised under fire. he's as cool as they come.

and a chin that takes punches that he sees ..reasonably well to decent... (though he does get wobbled pretty regularly at LW)


he's also a smaller guy who is very old with a lot of wear
that he's anywhere near his current level is remarkable.

he may be my favorite active fighter.
some of his recent fights have been unbelievably exciting, and at FW he was a hell of a fighter.

Suspect chin, can also be a result of vision/balance etc. Calzaghe had a good chin but got knocked down occasionally due to lack of vision. Of course Marquez has a lot of heart which is why he's hard to finish.

Its more about technique and his recovery.He is like Gamboa, tons of flash KD's for no reason but carelessness. He doesnt really get hurt and recovers fast, but thats just playing with fire.
