"Doesn't belong in the same ring as me"

This is just dumb. It's one thing to believe you're gonna win the fight, but if Floyd isn't worthy of being in the same ring as you....who is? Pacquaio? Wladimir Klitschko?

This is sort of thing you say about an up and coming prospect which you don't rate. Not the p4p best fighter in the world. (Or number 2 p4p, if you're a Pacquaio fan)

Maybe Ortiz is just tryna get in the mindset of no1 is beating me so he comes in possesed kinda like he did with the berto fight

"I'm the reigning champion, I'm giving him a shot".

Care to divulge the purse split then Victor?

I don't buy the confidence or ****y angle. I wish him well but it's all an act. He's over-selling it. A bit exaggerated but an act nonetheless.

The guy is just lost when he talks. He runs out of things to say, so he says the first thing that pops in his head, and ends up making himself sound like a fool. He does it time and time again.

I'm all for trash talk but when you say outlandish things like ''He doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as me'' your words can't be taken serious. Trash talk is most effective when you exploit/exaggerate the truth.

              Anyone can make **** up.

Uh, you try again, he's already said he is going to pay the WBC sanctioning fee.

What color is all of these belts? There is your answer.

The fight has been in the rumor mill since just after Ortiz defeated Andre Berto in April, giving him the green belt that Mayweather has coveted over his career.

Anybody that follows Floyd's career knows that he looks at the WBC differently than the others.

I hope he doesn't really believe this. I'm rooting for Ortiz to win, or at least do well, but he is going WAY overboard with this stuff.

People might think he's being delusional or whatever but this is the correct attitude he needs to go into this fight with. That happy-go-lucky goofy, surfer-dude persona made him complacent. He needs to not give a ****, just like he did with into the Berto fight. The Face-Off thing had me a little worried, as he seemed to be in awe of Floyd.

Ultimately, it probably won't matter because Floyd will be beat him. But it's still the right way to approach the fight.
