....you wouldn't want to see it because Pacquiao would most likely lose? LOL

personally I would love to see Pacquiao or Mayweather against Maravilla @ 154

Both would lose because Martinez is too big. It's a giant who has skills against midgets as far as I'm concerned.

This guy's fought Kelly Pavlick and he's really big.

So? Floyd fought Oscar De La Hoya at 154, took his belt, yet Floyd fans had no problem in him fighting JMM who was obviously undersized. The excuse? JMM was number 2. So apparently, size is only an issue when it doesn't favor Floyd.

            Meh.

IMO pac can handle it, tho it won't be easy. And provided Manny fought like he did with Dela Hoya, it's gonna be like the days of the kamikaze.

It's been a while since Pac face adversity and a fight with Sergio is the ultimate.

Manny is too small. He was able to take the shots from Cotto and Margo, but admitted he was hurt from them both. The thing is, he was able to see the punches from both of them. Martinez would be too fast and powerful for Pac. He has a way of sneaking punches in.

Out of both Pac and Floyd, Floyd would have the best chance. I don't think he would beat him, though. Martinez is too much of a tricky south paw.

Yup I agree, a battle with Martinez will be too much.

But Sergio hasn't fought someone like Pac who can run rings around him and connect 4/6 loaded combos in less than 2secs, then those in-outs and effective footwork can take a toll on Martinez too.

Still very interested to see the fight, Pac ate gravel and sand for breakfast before going pro anyways , so I'm sure he'll be alright if they ever get to it.

He can make 154 but we all know by fight night he'll be 170. When's the last time Floyd or Manny was 170 fight night?

Damn, what is the highest Floyd even came in fight night like 150-155?
He probably wont get it, but at least he will make Floyd loo a bit cowardly.
Floyd says its about skills, not speed or power. So him fighting a bigger guy, at a weight he comfortably beat Oscar at makes perfect sense.

Cant see floyd risking that '0'.

Its a real shame. It would be a serious challenge, and a truly great win if Floyd were to win.

I'm a fan of Floyd, and I'd like to see him fight Sergio. I think it'll be a great fight at 154. But I only want that fight to happen at 154 after Floyd is finished with what he wants to accomplish at 147(Which he is still making very comfortably).

Yes, can't blame Sergio if he's all about the benjamins. But it's just hilarious he has to become a hypocrite just to get it.

And, you have Pac rising up in weight to challenge fighters, at the other side of the spectrum you have Martinez going backwards to challenge guys obviously smaller rather than moving up. Now what does that tell people?
Pacmanm did rise in weight to challenge guys, but at 154 that guy wasn't elite, in the slightest. Suppose Martinez went to super middle at a catchweight of 164 & fought someone like Andrade or Codrington for a title. That's the equivalent of Pacman. Rising in weight & fighting the best is not what Pacman did. Just my opinion homey.
