bro, boxers are the most approachable athletes on the planet.

for lack of a better word they love attention.

find a local fighter that you support in the crowd after a fight

go to a local show and get a ringside seat if you really want to be involved with boxing. it's easy. just walk over and say hello, that you enjoyed the fight, if he knows when he'll be back in the ring (which i'm sure probably wont) so you can see him again. take a picture, thank him for the time, and head back to your seat.

if you cant get a ringside seat, try moving down quickly to say hello. its a lot easier in a small venue.

hell, if you get the right opportunity, there's hardly fighter on this planet that outright will not take a picture with you

obviously they are people whose time needs to be respected when you get near the top
but the fans are the ones paying the bills at the very least
    they are appreciated.
