He still needs pay days and their are lots of sub prime fights of interest that make money. I don't think he will ever win a Sauerland promotion no matter what without a KO unfortunately for him. But I would still watch him fight a David Tua..Monte Barrett...James Toney rematch just to mention a few. He's always been a class act and a likeable guy. And considering he is still quite impressive and he moves his feet and has a good defense and how small a percentage of fighters out there make it to the A list...he still can beat any young B list heavyweight at close to 50...that's not an easy thing to do. Most people posting here have no idea how hard it is to go 12 rounds at any age...and he always shows up with 12 rounds in him.

For those pointing to certain fights to determine how Holyfield will do against Povetkin.. let's just say you're selling Holyfield & yourself short. With Holyfield it's always been about styles. This Povetkin dude is tailormade for Holy & another poster mentioned.. y'all keep poking ridicule his way when Evander can still move on his feet.. still has some reflexes left.. chin is ALWAYS rock solid & he still has some pop when he lets his hands go.
The portrait you guys are painting is not accurate at all. Evander is capable of beating any heavyweight on any given night.. especially all the fighters Not named Klitschko.. everyone of them has flaws.. don't sell Holyfield short.. determination & heart go a long way & he has these attributes in abundance unlike his HEARTless fans who have all betrayed him.. let's show some support for a boxing alltime great legend. He's a TOP 10 heavy & a #1 alltime cruiserweight... the disrespect he's been getting on these forums borders on blasphemy.. shame on all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!
