40-1-1. I typed 41-1 at first because I included the Gómez win.

This comment gives the impression that you either don't know anything about Gómez or you did not see the fight.

No, I don't know it. No one will ever know, unless you have a time machine.

People need to realize that Gomez made Sanchez..After Sanchez beat Gomez, Everyone was in awww...But Gomez didnt think that this was going to be his toughest fight..when Gomez fought Zapate is was his biggest fight..another great Mexican Legend. Gomez was partying alot..and when Azumah beat him Gomez was on the downside of his carreer and to get beat by a guy like Azumah Nelson is nothing to be ashamed about.

To me, I considered Wilfredo Gomez a perfect fighter prior to losing to Sanchez. I thought he'd win but Sanchez' legacy up til that point was one of always coming out on top too!

Since his passing, that legacy has become permanent ... hard to pick Wilfredo to beat him based on precedent, the results of their first meeting and the fact that Gomez was moving up in weight to meet him.

Wilfredo was a beautiful KO'ing machine though. A smooth Puncher.

You don't see that too often.

I see some people picking Sanchez by KO; no way that'd happen again without something similar to the swelling of Gomez' eyes again.

Sanchez might get a decision, but no KO.
