    More credit- yes.

    More money- no.

Therein lies the problem. All these dudes fight and claw their way up to fighting 'the big names for the big money'. While this brings cash and publicity, it doesn't mean the best matches take place.

Manny gets flack for choosing the bigger name and money fight in Shane.

How come Floyd made the right choice in choosing money, but Manny didn't?
De La Hoya was the BIGGEST name in the sport period. Pacquiao had the same opportunity & nobody criticizes that because passing on a De La Hoya fight is foolish. But now Pacquiao is the Biggest name next to Mayweather, fighting Mosley was not bringing anymore money to the table than Berto would have. Arum said people come to see Pacquiao perform no matter his opponent, the only guy that brings more money is a fight with Mayweather, so no Pacquiao does not get a pass here. Berto was the best fight available & Pacquiao ducked.

Mosley is a champion many times over and has been fighting for nearly two decades while having headlined his own PPV fights on numerous occasions.

Its absolutely ******ed to think that fighting Berto would bring the same amount of money as fighting Shane Mosley.

I think at this point Unless Pacquiao fights Mayweather he would get paid about the same against who ever he chooses. I think Arum lies to him & says something like "now if you choose Mosley I can pay you this much more than a Berto fight & Pacquiao jumps at it." Idk I could be wrong.

No it's not! Pacquiao is the attraction, his opponent does not matter unless it is Mayweather. Does anyone know who the hell Ortiz is? No & Floyd is getting paid as much If not more than the Mosley fight.

Floyd - "I axed 10 people in the crowd who he (Margarito) was, and nobody knew, thats why I'm not fighting him. I'm only after major fights with major names because they bring more money to the table".

Yes, its ******ed to think that Berto would bring the same money as someone who has headlined his own PPVs.

Manny fighting Shane is the exact reason why Floyd fought DLH, because they have a much more recognizable name with a greater impact in the sport which equates to more $$$$.

Dont even try compareing Berto to Mosley. Mosley is one of the greatest fighters ever while Berto is one of the biggest hypejobs ever.

Pac did the best thing legacy and money wise.

Berto wouldn't get past Mosley guaranteed and anyone who knows boxing knows that
