Dawson's right, Hopkins fought dirty against Calzaghe yet bhop's fanboys cried robbery after the fight. I could see Dawson beating bhop, and bhop's fanboys crying over it saying he was robbed because they think using your head as a weapon and clinching is a honorable way of fighting in a boxing ring.

what does honor have to do with scoring a fight? boxing isn't scored by who's the more moral and clean fighter. it's up to the ref to take points for being dirty not the judges and both guys were dirty so you want the ref to just start taking multiple points left and right and ruining the fight?

almost every punch calzaghe throws is with the inside of the glove and is illegal yet he has honor? if you are the dirty police how can you have him winning a round if he's not even throwing legal punches? what about all the rabbit punching, lowblows, and turning his back when hurt that he did?

fights aren't judged on these little nitpicking things that you pretend are big deals. they are judged on clean punching, defense, etc...which hopkins easily won. you don't have anything of substance to say calzaghe won the fight so you have to make up your own rules which do not correspond with the official rules.

For any real boxing fan this is a must see. Especially for someone like myself who wants to see hopkins beat soundly. Not that Joe Calzaghe ****.

This will be another tactical fight for sure. BHop will use his vast ring experience against a young, faster and stronger Dawson.

What's interesting is how Dawson would react on BHop "tactics" as what he is claiming it may be. How would Dawson adjust during the fight if plan A is not working.

As for BHop, probably there would be no significant change on his fight plan, i think coz, he will try to stay and enforce his playing style instead of playing with style of his opponent as he normally does.

Chad may get lucky and land some bombs on Hopkins because BHop gets wreckless just like he did at the end of the 2nd fight with Pascal. If Chad lands, this will be Hopkins first KO, because Chad is accurate.

have you ever watched dawson fight?

first off he doesnt have one punch ko power,

second he is rarely moving towards his target with momentum on his shots


third, have you seen hopkins? best chin in the sport, probably top 5 all time.

pascal is faster and has more power, pop and torgue than dawson.

dawson is a fluid fighter, he wont hurt hopkins, his best bet is to win on activity cause he cant out box or out wit hopkins

He came out of his shell against Pascal and had to chase a chicken around the ring for 11 rounds until the fight was stopped due to cuts. I would say that style might not be good for Dawson unless Steward improved it a bit. I'd imagine its taxing for a boxer when you have to chase someone around the ring for 11-12 rounds.
