Let's Take The Loaded Gloves Out Of The Equation

Forget about that even if it is true can Margarito replicate that preformance? He is clearly the lesser fighter can he do what he did in 2008 4 years older and with a broken face? Cotto will not fight the same fight, he will not move around and go to the ropes giving Margarito all the momentum and pretty much making the hunt for Margarito an easy one. Can Margarito replicate that against a top tier fighter that now has a legendary trainer that can find holes in fighters they didn't even know they had?

Neither fighter will be physically the same once they enter the ring again. However, in their upcoming re-match, the thing that matters most is the mental state of mind, i think. Margarito, has the upper hand in that department.

I gotta say Cotto has not gone up in weight very well. Since he left 140 he has been sloppy and I don't think 154 will do him any favours.

Margarito has the best chance I believe.

Cotto is also damaged....physically and mentally. It will be a less intense version of the first fight.
