Piovetkin is the Russian version of Haye...

Both are fake WBA chumpions, both are cowards, both ducked Wladimir...

Let's see - both were not true WBA champs since Wlad beat the true WBA champ both times.

Both ducked Wlad multiple times. Gayevid with his fake back injury and slave contracts and Biatchvetkin with his tree root injury and then "not ready" excuses. Both are scared ****less of the Klitschkos. Don't worry Biatchvetkin, one day you'll have to face your fears and get in the ring with Wlad. Then it will be the 3rd time Wlad takes the regular WBA belt.

I think we can trace the decline of Povetkin to teddy atlas. Let us not forget Povetkin was scheduled to fight and wanted to fight klitschko. Then came atlas and not only did he make him pull out, since hooking up with atlas he's taking on crap fights and he doesn't look as good in the ring as he did pre-atlas.

Thanks Teddy. Thanks for ruining another fighter.

Yep, Atlas sucks as a trainer. Every chance he gets he talks shiat about the Klitschkos and how easily they can be beat yet he wouldn't dare put his fighter against them. Now he is happy that Povetkin got a fake worthless chump title and they'll defend it against the likes of Holyfield until the Klitschkos retire. Now Atlas can claim that he is training a world champion - LOL... problem is, the average joe just tuning in will really believe it...

Povetkin and Haye are nothing alike. Povetkin never trash talked the Klitschkos and insulted them in an effort to boost his own name. Citing a suspect back injury and flat out saying "you are not ready yet" are completely different. One is likely an excuse the other is a completely transparent explanation for one's actions.

Povetkin's belt is mostly useless though, that's fine. Other than being heavyweights, they have nothing in common.

Povetkin was and might be still a better boxer then Haye. Beating even this version of Chagaev is probably a better win than the version of Valuev Haye beat. I'd like to see Povetkin vs Haye, and I'd favor Povetkin even tho Atlas did seem to **** him up. Povetkin has good wins over Chagaev and Chambers.

            They have plenty in common:

            1. Both ducked the Klitschkos MULTIPLE times - don't forget that Povetkin was Wlad's mandatory TWICE. The first time he faked a root injury (LOL), the second time he just didn't show up to the conference after the fight was announced, only then did it come out from Atlas that he wasn't ready.

            2. Both claimed the WBA "regular chump" title in a dubious fashion, after Wlad was stripped of it each time.

            3. Both are/were managed by the corrupt Saureland that made all this possible.

            4. Both have talked shiat about the Klitschkos, either on their own or through their trainer. The fact that Povetkin personally hasn't talked smack is true, but his trainer has talked enough smack for the both of them. Atlas has talked more shiat about the Klitschkos than Gayevid ever has.

            That's plenty right there.

After Ukrainian Wlad owns Russian Povetkin, that will be another common thing him and Gayevid share - ownage by Wlad.

The fight on Sat did not impress me. I had it at best a draw. Chagaev is still a tough customer but he has gotten worse since Wlad beat him yet he was able to hurt Povetkin and made it a tough fight for him. I actually would like to see Povetkin vs Gayevid also, it would be funny if Gayevid won and had to fight Wlad again... the pre-fight negotiations would be comedy gold - it would be Gayevid still claiming that he deserves 50/50 because he is a world champ just like Wlad.

Povetkin's even more of a ***** than Haye, and whilst he isn't anywhere near as annoying, he just has no standout qualities whatsoever. At least Haye knocked out bums and old men in spectacular fashion. Povetkin takes them to points decisions. He's now thinking of doing something that not even Haye contemplated: taking on Holyfield.

Haye NEVER fought a heavyweight, or fighter in general, as good as Chagaev or Chambers.

Im sorry but Haye's performance against Valuev, who would be classified as a legal cripple eligible for a disability pension in USA, was the most disgraceful performance boxing will ever see. Then he put the icing on the cake against wladimir.

When povetkin throws 8 punches a round, then get at me. . .

                    1. Don't blame the fighters for the ass backwards sanctioning bodies.
                    2. It's not called ducking someone when you say you aren't ready to fight them. This isn't like the case with Haye where David was saying how bad Wlad ****** and how bad he would destroy.
                    3. When Wladimir fought Chagaev the WBA belt was not on the line and Ruslan was only the WBA champ in recess.
