  • He hasn't impressed me either at all. I am not impressed when I look at his inflated cherry picked resume and at all the fighters he has ducked. A lot of hype, indeed.

Ortiz is an intelligent young man.

Why don't be a real boxing fan for once? I understand you don't like Mayweather as a person but damn it man. How the hell do you put JMM's pic up like that when Mayweather basically shut him out when they fought? See, this is the kind of BS I'm talking about. this is the absolute **** sucking i'm talking about.

      • Floyd is not all hype. Floyd defines boxing perfection, but if you see Floyd's struggles in the past Ortiz is CLEARLY the worse match up for Mayweather taking in consideration the lay off as well. Ortiz is gonna be just as big as the DLH that Floyd fought, he's gonna bring pressure like Castillo did, and he is a southpaw with a vicious straight left like Judah but with much more fire power behind it. Ortiz is a harder fight than Pacquiao for Floyd, because Pacquiao depends on punch volume, speed, and his chin. Ortiz has much more to that plus a longer reach than Pac which makes him harder to pull and counter.

        • If Ortiz is confident enough to underestimate Mayweather, he already lost the fight. He's being overconfident. People watch the Berto fight and thinks Ortiz has a chance. He does have a puncher's chance but he's still a no jabbin ass amateur compared to Floyd. He didn't even dominate Berto. He went to war with Berto. So lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

          • Some of you guys on here are totally ***** ******ed. We will have to see how Floyd does against Ortiz, but remember Pac had a chance to fight him too, but declined. Floyd is a chicken? Afraid of Pac? He offered step aside money to JMM if Pac would fight him, and gave him a couple of chances now to take the tests and fight, but Pac refused. Pac is afraid of needles with all his tatoos? Are you ******? Pac is afraid of Floyd, period. Any true boxing fan can see the huge difference in skill. Pac has walked away twice from a fight with Floyd because of his refusal to random testing. Get a brain.

            • Ther is no doubt that Castillo easily beat Floyd in their first fight. Floyd was loosing on the letterman score cards and the audience booed Floyd when they read the decision. Any fighter that can put pressure on Floyd for the entire fight wiill easily beat Floyd via Pacman and maybe Ortiz on Sept. 17.

                • Regardless if you think Floyd's style is boring or not you really can't say what he has done and accomplished in boxing isn't impressive. He basically shuts down his opponents game plan no matter what it is. Although i do agree he probably lost against Castillo and DLH, as the record stands he is undefeated. Lets see how Ortiz fairs in September 17th (one day after my wedding) hopefully its a good fight and not a sleeper like FLoyds last two fights.

Ali is, was and always will be the greatest.

Pacquiao already agreed with blood testing....

You mean the fight where Floyd fought Castillo with one arm? Ok, talk about their second fight now.
