If it turns into a fire fight, Arreola should win.
This always baffles me, where did Chris get a reputation as a puncher? Because HBO told us he was? Who exactly has Arreola proved his power against? Povetkin isn't really a one punch knockout artist....but neither is Chris. Povetkin is a much better combination puncher though.

It was a boring performance at best. Povektin throws some good combinations but he doesn't follow and press. He gets in there does a little work and then gets out. Against a guy like Chagaev you can get away with that because Ruslan was very inactive but someone like Arreola you need a good offense..

As for Povetkin's power, he punches looked weak and at no point in the fight did it look like he hurt Chagaev...
lol with what? Being made to struggle against a journeyman? Chris looked terrible in that fight.

Kind of like Adamek did vs Chris.....

that's not saying much considering that not even Klychko could stun Chagaev in spite of bouncing right hands off his face all night long.

Povetkin probably wins a comfortable decision, but if Chagaev can hurt him so can Arreola, so he would have a chance at the upset.

Although Povetkin was wide open against Chagaev I'd still pick him to beat Cry Baby Arreola.

        UD or late TKO.

Arreola by stoppage. Povetkin is going to need to fight the Evanders and Rahmans of the world to keep his "title" reign going.

Depends, does Chris Arreola come in with his Tecate and Burger King diet?
Does Povetkin come with his 2 week training camp with the ATG Trainer Teddy Atlas?

I wasnt impressed at all with Povetkin vs Chagaev. I felt that Chagaev shouldve won that fight and he had Povetkin hurt but wasnt active enough. If he was more active Chagaev wouldve won by TKO!

Its a 60/40 fight for me leaning to Povetkin, regardless if Chris comes in the best shape of his life. Povetkin has the pedigree and the amateur experience. His technique is miles above Arreola's. But who knows if either of them will be motivated?

I have a feeling Chris and Alexander are the type of guys who would be getting drunk together in some restaurant 12 hours before they are due to fight each other and would wish each other good luck as they get drunk

13 seconds. He was stepping on Chagaev's foot Ruslan wasn't hurt.
