Lacy vs. Pemberton

Does anyone think that Pemberton has a little chance of giving Lacy a tough time? I actually think he could do it, but I am thinking about the triangle theory. Since Pemberton bested Sheika twice and Sheika did so good against Lacy, then Pemberton might give Lacy hell. I don't usually like that triangle theory stuff, but in this case, it might be.

He could very well give him a good fight however I think will be overcome eventually.....I am looking for Lacy to show alot better boxing skills this time too since he showed signs of it in his last fight most notably using the Jab more.Lacy TKO 9.

Pemberton is tall for super middleweight at 6'2. He can crack, but I dont think he has the style to beat lacy. The blueprint would be the way Ruben Williams fought up untill the time he was stopped. Throwing hard counter right hands and establishing the jab. Pemberton does not fight his height, and is really taylor made for Lacy. I dont see the fight lasting because his chin is suspect to say the least.....and he is fighting arguably one of the hardest punchers in the sport.

But Pemberton has a ton of heart and has the ability to suck it up. He is a guy who can overcome adversity, as he did against Sheika.

Yeah he does have heart. But heart might get him into trouble in this fight. Though I dont think Lacy will knock him out visciously.....I think he will administer a beating and the fight will be stopped.

Pemberton has a shot...of course.

Who knows....we really dont know about Lacy's chin....it hasnt been tested to the full extent. In fact. Pemberton might be the hardest puncher he has faced yet.

I think he will need to establish a jab and land the counter right hand in order to be effective.

I see one of two things happening. Either Lacy destroys him impressively, or takes him decision. Lacy might let Pemberton off the [left] hook to make Calzaghe bite. If he isn't thinking like that, I think he'll walk right over Pemberton with very little trouble.

Pemberton is a good fighter, but Lacy has youth and mad power on his side. I definitely do not see Pemberton winning this fight at all. I think Codrington right now could beat Pemberton. Don't think Codrington could beat Lacy right now (although I'd want him to).

i think this will be a good fight. pemberton is no pushover, and lacy needs another good fight before kessler and joe.
i like the lacy tko 9 prediction, the guy is a bull and will keep on coming in this fight, mid round stoppage imo

I think Pemberton's toughness and size will give Lacy some trouble at first.....but in the end I think he will be overwhelmed by Lacy's youth and power.
