WBC junior welterweight champion Victor Ortiz is ripped and ready for the first defense on his title, on September 17th against Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Ortiz, training in California, returns from his career best win from this past April, when he moved up to welterweight to capture his WBC title with a twelve round unanimous decision over the previously undefeated Andre Berto.
