Who else is dissapointed with Golovkins career so far?

After such a great amateur career and now being a "world champion" his next opponent is a guy with a record off 23-3 and 3 off those losses coming in his last 6 its a bit off a joke at 29 he aint old but he certainly aint young either. The most annoying thing is as loaded as 160 is most off the top fighters outside of Martinez and Sturm are prospects with great potiental.H e could take this division by the scruff off the neck but yet his best name by far on his resume is a shot Ouma

Yup, that same Ouma was beating the breaks off of him too. -.-; you guys are looking way too deep into his amateur background. He's been nothing but a smaller version of JCC jr thus far, with more pop and volume.

Golovkin getting overrated again simply because of his am background.

I agree. He is aging fast and hasn't done anything significant and I believe he has the talent.

Agreed, he looked awful against a shot Ouma.

Golovkin is very talented, but he's probably declined the past 4 years because of poor opposition and periods of inactivity, thanks to his de****able former promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl of Universum.

Both Golovkin and Korobov have been poorly managed and both seem to have declined as a result.

Well i dont know how long Martinez has left approaching 37.Look outside then Quilin-fought nobody yet Guerrero-KOed Lee-as much as it kills poor defense hoping he can show something different against Vera N Dam-Not as good as previously taught to be Pirog-good but given too much credit for the Jacobs win.All good fighters but it think Golovkin as defense absent as he has become is the best of the bunch

i wasn't impressed with his last fight against ouma....

a shot ouma just needed to keep on his feet & he would have beat golovkin........how can you give up 7 rounds in a row........
