Something i noticed about floyd's development

Before the castillo fights he had no real way of keeping other, bigger, more aggressive fighters off of him. it wasnt until after the castillo fights that he started using and adapting the lead right as his primary distance/stay back punch. and it was after the development of this punch that he became a more complete fighter.

without this punch, it would have been hard for him to continue to move up in weight as he did. sure he would have still had his legs, but legs and reflexes get u but so far, esp when u begin to lose them as u get bigger. so ive come to the conclusion that the guy owes his success to, as much as anything else, his lead right. thoughts?

when he first fought castillo he tasted defeat in the eyes of the audience and realize how bad it was and been given a gift as a winner. then he said to himself wont ever want to feel this way again and went defensive and cherry picking since then till now

A master pugilist is able to adjust his style when need be accordingly. Versatility just makes one more difficult to beat.

            Dempsey, I think it's a good thought.

But I also feel that Floyd realized that he had to add some bulk to his frame and get stronger if he was going to face these bigger fighters.

He was giving up a lot of weight/strength to JLC.

who has he truly ducked? Margs, who is a known cheater with 7 losses? Look whats become of Cottos career since the Margarito fight. Fighting Margarito would not have benefited Floyd at all in the long run. I agree he should've fought Cotto and maybe we would've seen that fight if Cotto was the last man standing when he, Mosley, and Margarito all fought each other. But it was Mosley who was left as the number one welterweight so Floyd fought him. Now he's fighting the number two welterweight in Victor Ortiz. So please stop the nonsense dude because it makes you look ****ing ridiculous!

Could you give us fights as examples where he used this newly developed lead right?

the last man standing always changes. you can't just pick some interchangeable group of fighters and then say he was the last man standing! cotto beat quintana, judah, and mosley why wasn't he the last man standing then? margarito beat clottey, cintron and cotto why wasn't he the last man standing then? mosley beats margarito and suddenly he's the last man standing because he won 1 fight? floyd is a cherry picker. when an old mosley is the last man standing floyd would fight him but when someone dangerous and in their prime is the last man standing its vacation time!
