He's injured alright...but it isn't his hand. It's a distended belly. Dude is a cruiserweight starving himself to fight at Jr Middle because he knows if he fights from Super Middle on up he'll end up getting laid out on a stretcher. He can't beat any of the top 50 at 168 so he needs to try and whoop on little guys. Dude is a fraud.

I don't know if the injury is legit or not but I do know that Chavez aint scared of no Martinez. Chavez had the balls to fight Zbik who Martinez flat out ducked

Where do you get this ****** stuff? Martinez tried to fight Zbik so he could keep the WBC belt (Zbik was his mandatory). HBO refused to pay for the fight, so Martinez had to go elsewhere. This caused nothing but heartache for Martinez when HBO then agreed to buy the crap fight between JCC Jr. and Zbik.

Anyone who thinks Martinez, the same guy who beat Williams and Pavlik was afraid of Zbik needs to get their head examined. Chavez is a pretender who took the easy road avoiding better fighters to get a title. How many times did Chavez back out of fighting Wolak????

He wasn't afraid of Zbik. HBO wouldn't buy the fight because of Zbik's style. I guess he figures it never hurts to just make facts up.
