Do boxers ever have two boxing trainers at once?

Or would that be too much money for them to pay two trainers to give them advice and so on? Like I was thinking maybe it would be a smart thing if Dawson could have Steward and the Mayweather who helped him earlier in his career. I forget which Mayweather it was. And what type of fight should Dawson do against Hopkins?

Should he be active and make the fight like Calzaghe and hope the judges like what they see? Or should he be defensive minded and just look to counter Hopkins?

Pretty expensive and probably not worth it but people have done it before. Oscar and Hamed come to mind.

It happens every now and then trainers will go into partnership with each other, e.g Ray Arcel and Whity Bimstein were known as the 'Siamese Training Twins' and were with each other for 15 or so years training a silly amount of boxers together including many champions / HOFers, Arcel also worked with Freddie Brown when they was with Duran. Dundee had Luis Sarria help him with Jose Napoles, Luis Rodriguez, Ali (To a lesser extent) and others, he was their conditioning coach as well.

Bit old examples but they were first to come to mind, it happens every now and then like I said.

You couldn't just put Steward with Mayweather and hope for the best though, it'd be better if they were already good friends, had it arranged as who trained what part of the boxer, who got what cut of the money etc etc, a proper partnership otherwise all kinds of **** would probably go down.
