Teddy's predictions are normally way off but I must agree with him here. I believe JMM will surprise everyone and have another close and hotly contested war with Pacquiao. However Mayweather has the tools and experience to make it an easy night against Ortiz but I believe the layoff will play a big role in the competitiveness of this fight

To say that this is an easy fight for Mayweather is wrong.
The fact is Ortiz has nothing to lose but everything to gain.

You're missing the point. Just because Pacquiao wins doesn't mean that his fight wasn't tougher than Mayweather's.

You're thinking in terms of who is taking on the greater challenge. Factually that would be Mayweather according to his opponents' rank and standing at the time in which he fought them. But that's a completely different topic.

In actuality, what's being discussed here is who has to work harder to win their fights: Mayweather or Pacquiao.

Mayweather, against even the the most difficult opponent, keeps his composure, expends little energy and outclasses his opponents at his own pace.

Pacquiao has to waste incredible amounts of energy to compete at the top level because he lacks elite boxing skills. Pacquiao gets by on a high workrate, not superior boxing skills. He gets hit A LOT. He misses A LOT.

And what non-fans called "running all night" was Shane Mosley sticking and moving, which has been a part of the game since the beginning. Shane showed that unless you are willing to stand and trade, Manny has no answers. That's why Manny has a tough time with boxers who have skills. They don't have to stand and trade. They can actually BOX! Watch the first Morales fight!

Boxers like Pacquiao will always have to try harder because they have no other tools to work with. They swarm and try to overwhelm because if they allow their opponents to make it a boxing match they know they could get into real trouble.

Why would it be sad? Manny's aggressive. When you have a well schooled counter puncher with lots of heart in front of you you can't just walk through him. Floyd had a huge size advantage and was fresh as hell. Floyd pulls away instead of engaging. 2 totally different styles you fool.

When manny threw the damn punch he wasnt even looking lol. In essence what Brother Jay is saying is true. Look at the turtle Clottey, was not manny's face messed up?Clottey rarely threw, but still managed to **** manny up pretty good. What about when he looked like a damn mummy with all that damn gauze on his head and ear?? What about when he was hurt by margarito?? In essence manny will always have a tougher fight than Floyd, because Floyd is simply better. I think this is what BROTHER JAY IS GETTING AT.

Manny may even knock marquez out, but I will bet you a dollar to a dime that while they fight the performance wont be as dominant as Floyds.....

So of course teh guy is generalizing and its always someone coming up with x1 0r x2 examples to say your wrong, when 90% of the time manny has a tougher fight.

Of course logic would prevail that there may simply be something wrong with some cats of the world that cant say meow, and the same for cows that cant say moo. But at the end of the day the majority do. Use the same generalizations with manny in this case....
