I remember Cotto's team was saying they were willing to go up to 160 to face Jr. but want to do a catch weight with Margarito at 150.

Bob Arum promotes them both...as well as Margarito. Arum comments that Jr is ready for Cotto after I can't remember if it was his last fight or the previous on just to make it sound good...knowing full well it would be kinder just to shoot Jr in the head and the fight will never in a million years happen. He is just trying to make him sound good so he can sell a de La Hoya fight with Jr and cash in on the drama of the son fighting a redemption fight on behalf of his father with Oscar. You watch this is what will happen...Oscar is so out of it the fight will look 1/2 decent. Oscar will win and talk up his victory as miraculous and maybe even make it a 2 fight ripoff of the naive public. I know...quite the prediction but this is the only way Jr will ever have a marquis fight because I could beat the piss out of him...and I'm older than his father.

COtto destroys Chavez Jr @ 160... .Easily.. Cotto is too skilled for Jr. All Jr. has going for him is his inside game... You **** with him you gna probably lose,he doesn't have anything in his aresenal.,unless your Powell Wollack,who I think is one the best in the game in pressuring you... Sick Cardio.... But only in the inside, Jr.is one dimensional fighter...Body.. Body and Body...Now his dad, Chavez Sr. at one time had at one time of one the best hip movements< I don't see that in Jr....
