Zab Judah is overrated as hell....IMO

I forgot to mention Cory Spinks.

Great boxer and a good talent, and whether it be that he got caught up in the hometown hype or whatever his excuse was, he didn't look anywhere near as sharp as when he out-boxed Mayorga (didn't really agree with the ref personally), or when he beat Zab the first time.

He just looked very sluggish. Could of been a bad night.

Zab is a very good fighter He may be a little overrated but he has skillz....I believe the best of Zab lies ahead.

He never really beat a top, world class fighter..

and when he did he got knocked down twice by one punch, and when he fought the half decent Cory Spinks, he lost the 1st time and won the 2nd which was pretty impressive, but Spinks was overrated as hell also and lost to Mayorga(robbery)

Zab is the most overrated fighter today..

All he has fought and looked good against are just a bunch of bums, but people talk like this guy like he's god and beat everyone...

Well. I could not disagree more with this thread.

Judah has beat some good fighters.

Pineda--who beat Roger Mayweather and Oba Carr

Corley--who had only one defeat at the time and was coming off an impressive win over Six heads Lewis and Randal Bailey

Omar Weis--who beat Macho Camacho jr, and Emmanuel Augustus

Junior Witter--Bigtime English prospect who was undefeated at the time....and is currently held in high regards as a contender

Micky Ward--An extemely dangerous opponent who caused problems for many undefeated prospects

Jan Bergman--who holds a win over Edwin Cassiani and Kamel Ali

Corey Spinks--who he was robbed against in the first fight...avenging the second by knockout.

oh and FYI Spinks is not an average fighter.........he holds quality wins over:

Mayorga
Laser Marks
Miguel Gonzales
Lenny Townsend
Michele Piccirillo when he had only one defeat.

quality fighters? give me a break. spinks is a decent fighter who got a gift against mayo, and he beat zab the first time. i like zab, but i really want him to step up and see what he can do, hes a great talent

I can not be objective on the topic...But I would still say that Zabdiel is not overrated. I mean kid got lots of potential and he matured greatly since his losses to Tszyu and Spinks...and whats more important he knows of his weak side which is mainly him losing focus in a middle of a fight. Thats his biggest flaw.
I can not be objective because we are both from the same and he still practices there from time to time...and when he practices you just see how brilliant he is.
