    Bad Night For Boxing

words cannot describe how MAD i am right now.

    the contender fights were bull****.

u could argue about the gomez stoppage, but i dont.

bonsante is a fighter i really dont like but i will agree that he was blatantly robbed against brinkley.

and there is no explanation that those ****up judges could give that would justify their horrid scores when they allowed sergio the latin ****** mora to win that fight.

the only two things im happy about October 15th, 2005 was Juan Carlos Gomez won and Tomaz Adamek won by TKO. aside from that, this was a bad night for boxing.

Don't worry, nobody was watching. I'm sure they had ****ty numbers and only Contendor fans, sports fans, and boxing fans watched. But bad decisions never help.

    The Gomez fight helps though.

like i said in another post: its bad decisions like these that makes people not like boxing. its what give the sport a bad rep.

some judges should be murdered in defensless cold blood after a robbery like that and i would be glad to be the one to do it.

The fact that the fights were put off live to continue to watch a rather pointless College Football game is proof of ESPN's commitment, as well as the fan's enthusiasm (or lack there of) for the sport.

I'm pissed at both of em. Second half of the fight, Manfredo fought like the first fight (a lil less but still) when he was doing amzing on the outside. Made it close, **** Mora looked nasty from distance, not like in their first.

i agree. i dont think there is any way that it could have been worse for boxing and the contender.

i bet the season 2 ratings are gonna be terrible and this is the last one.

this sucks my night is ruined i should have gone and got drunk.

That has nothing to do with it... it's a contract issue... they can't just shut a game off the gamblers would wild out
