tests cost a lot of money. and boxing commissions don't have the money or infrastructure to set it up. then there is the alphabet bodies who prefer to pocket the money instead of advancing the sport. it makes sense to have full olympic testing at least for the highest profile of fights. at least for now. we are in year 2011 for god's sake. sports are flooded with illegal substances. urine tests are a joke...

The second best way to get it implemented IMO would be to get a lot of high level fighters to say "I wont fight without it". It is the fighters sport after all, not the commissions...

So far I know of one saying this, and I know of some who have agreed. Why other fighters are supporting it is very questionable to me, and why one will do damn near anything to avoid it is disgusting.

That was cable tv... and technically they say he is a coward if what they think is going on is whats actually going on, way different than how you guys like to say they said he was a coward. "He's a coward if this is for real." You guys put too much on that whiney ass espn rant, completely get something different that what was actually said.

Now, at first glance, I would have to say that your earlier comment "FACT: Manny doesn't want a test"..... is a MASSIVE fkn understatement

Pacquiao would rather have one of his toes amputated than take a harmless little blood test, and I want to know the real reason why that is, because his 8 ridiculous excuses are absolute rubbish.

The only reason why Manny required 8 different excuses, is because none of them are genuine.

Now, to a genuine boxing fan, or to any normal coherent human being, that big ol bag of ridiculous excuses would probably indicate that regardless as to the actual reason, Pacquiao will do everything in his power to avoid undertaking random blood tests.

And Mayweather should be advising his legal team that a large part of his defense should be based upon Roach's admission that Pacquiao's refusal to undertake OSDT's would raise su****ions.

what you are saying would be extremely difficult to attain...

if the boxing commissions could not put up the resources or ways and means to improve testing, who do you expect to shoulder the costs of improve testing? a handful of boxers whose income from the fights are nowhere the magnitude of what pac and floyd gets?

and you would still need to go thru the governing body for pro boxing for licensing...

so why add another layer?

The guy wont fight anyone dangerous without a catch-weight, he always needs special conditions or special privileges, he is always full of ridiculous excuses, and his refusal to undertake OSDT's just makes him look pathetic.
