Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola Could Return on Oct. 29th, Says Goossen

Promoter Dan Goossen is mulling over whether to add the heavyweight Chris Arreola to the undercard of the Super Six championship at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Oct. 29 as part of his resurgence as a contender, he told Boxingscene.com at a press stop in Manhattan on Tuesday. He would like to see Arreola see action “definitely once more” and perhaps even twice before the year is up. [Click Here To Read More]

Arreola and Traver should square off against each other. But for Oct.29 Arreola should fight Sam Peter

Nothing wrong with the heavyweight division ... unless you're an American ... but that's the least of America's problems these days.

I just hope Arreola fights another ranked contender this time, not a journeyman.

If the fight's all the way in late October then the promoters/matchmakers should have enough time to secure a credible opponent for Arreola. I like how Chris has been active but he needs a big fight to get him really motivated.
