idk i guess if i had parkinson's i would do as much as i could, while i could.

i bet when the disease has taken over and you can't really function anymore-- you'd wish you could go back in time and work as much as you possibly could.

I'm not sure whether its a good idea of not to be honest. The ams and the pros have two completely different ways of fighting so I would assume the same goes for sparring. Time will tell if this is a good move.

            i'm pretty sure he's a boxing guy 24/7 365

he's said himself that his fighters are his family

            he's got family, obviously
but he never married (to my knowledge)
and he has no kids (99.99% certain about this)

he's probably one of the busiest guys on the planet.

not to mention he does lots of it after getting off of planes
            staying at hotels and ****

Pros can't help to speed up the Ams. Roach must be looking for future pro stars.

Roach is the last trainer I would hire for my National team. He's an overrated trainer and has never brought anyone from the Amateur level to become a big star.

If it wasnt for Manny falling into his lap he would still be training Actors and Hollywood housewives in his gym that was given to him by an Actor.

Freddie needs his priorities checked, he is like the McDonalds of Trainers, he has 50 people he "trains" which include MMA/Boxing/Celebrities, but doesnt give any of them the time they deserve and pay for, so if you are with him theres a good chance he wont show up to your fight and you will have to jump thru hoops just to get personal time with him (slim to none unless your name is Pacq or Khan)

Trainers need to have a few fighters at a time and focus all the attention on them.

will Ariza be with the US National team as well ? Unlike Conte and Korchemny he's not disqualified from all Olympic sports yet . I don't think Roach is good choice for Olympic boxing team , it's more about US being obsessed with celebrities and big names . Let's see what happens , most likely the best prospects will end up turning pro at wildcard under Freddie . He needs some fresh blood , Paq is towards the end of his career .
