Why the hell did Margarito come in at 145 for the Mosley weigh in?

He fought Cotto at 147, he is a big WW and the only fight he's fought at 145 he lost (again P. Williams). I just don't get it...

I was looking at the weigh in again and he looked pretty drained as well. Not to mention I heard he had to lose about 35+ pounds for the fight or something along those lines.

I honestly think there were several mistakes that led to his downfall that night (along with getting caught before the fight and other distractions), I think that you recreate that fight again at any point in time and Margarito destroys Mosley.

Shane had 1 great fight left in him, that night was it
nothing Tony did would help him that night
the handwrap thing definitely didn't help
but Shane was on the money, did everything right in that fight
    Tony just had no answers
he didn't look like there was something wrong with him physically

Probably was trying to increase his speed by coming in lighter. How much does plaster-wrapping weigh?

It was because he used a broken scale in his room before the weigh-in.

He thought he was over and he actually was on weight.

I have heard many people point at this. Whether it's the truth or not, trying to burn off two additional pounds when you already took off so much, is tough.

Even if he came over the weight it wouldn't have made a difference. Specially after the whole wraps issue. His mind wasn't in the fight anymore. I was just surprise at how much punishment he took before being KO. His chin is like no other

B.S. Post! Margarito weighed in at 146 and Shane at 147. They both weighed 160 on fight night. Watch the fight for yourself
