I love what's happening at 154 right now.

They're not making the fights that the public is asking for (i.e Kirk vs Canelo), but even on it's worse day, 154 is ****ting on a lot of divisions right now.

I'm just wondering when Vanes, k-9, and others will start stepping in the mix.

What's the deal with Shawn Porter? He used have a big following here on Boxingscene and I think he also an account. He was being touted as a hot prospect and there was sparring stories of him and Manny Pacquaio. I haven't heard his name being mentioned for awhile now...

I was going to make a thread about this the other day.

But after I saw how the Andrade vs Omar Henry thread turned out, I figured no one was probably interested.

To answer your question, I remember seeing him fight on ESPN awhile ago and I think boxrec had him scheduled for a fight recently but that was about it.

I think he's still fighting at 147 though.

With Canelo vs Kirkland/Williams pending and the potential of the countless matchups there, I hope people are ready to acknowledge that 154 is hands down "the" division right now.
