    WBA Heavyweight rankings

    Champ John Ruiz

    . Not Rated
    2. Nicolay Valuev
    3. DaVaryll Williamson
    4. Samuel Peter
    5. Larry Donald
    6. Calvin Brock
    7. Monte Barrett
    8. Owen Beck
    9. Corrie Sanders
    10. Sinan Samil Sam
    11. Wladimir Klitschko
    12. Oliver Mccall
    13. Andrew Golota
    14. Ray Austin

......Should be interesting to see their new rankings come out. Of the top 9 ranked guys, 6 of them have either lost or(in Sanders case) are out of the picture.

The rankings are nonesense. Oliver McCall is in the run for a heavyweight belt, are you kidding me?

Well they won't put Vitali and Brewster there cause you have to fight ranked fighters by the WBA to move up the rankings I believe. The champs can fight each other to unify, thats about it, you won't find them ranked on the list.

Makes me wish they'd have an inter-division tournament. Then we'd see how 'legitimate' this belt is. Champ vs Champ. No1 contender vs no1 contender etc. How cool would that be?

.....The other belts will never rank a holder of a competing belt. Hence, Vitali and Brewster cannot be ranked. Neither is Byrd if you noticed.
