You guys just wanna see haters everywhere so you can climb into that defensemodeand feel victimised. I gave Ward full credit for the AA fight which to me was the most dangerous for him out there since AA had to be fought from the outside.Comment

i think all his fights have been won pretty convincingly but thats just my opinion he does used some dirty boxing techniques but its not as bad as people make itComment

By calling himself the SOG, he's merely referencing that in his belief "WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN"
Lol, wow, u couldn't pick that up?
Lol, pampered/protected? That's based on 1 small fact, and that is that he had the weaker opposition throughout the tourney. But when he signed up to fight in the super 6, he didn't know who he was gonna fight, he didn't know where he was gonna fight. He didn't care. All he knew is that he wanted to fight the best.- Ward is a pampered, protected fighter who managed somehow to get ALL his Super Six fights in his home country, the first few in his home state, despite not having a world title when it began. Froch had to fight 4 of his 5 in foreign countries. IS THAT FAIR?
In fact, if Dirrell didn't pull out, he and Froch would be equal by this point in the tournament.
Don't recall ever hearing this rule, but whatever... If its true, what can I say? Someone should have done something about it- Ward managed to get California referees to work his first two Super Six fights, despite the contract stating that the referees will be from neutral countries.
So did Carl Froch when he fought Andre Dirrell. Yet, Andre Dirrell was the bad guy in that fight... The fight even ended in robbery, yet in order to diverge everyone from that fact, all everyone wanted to talk about was Dirrell's holding. Just like how no one wanted to talk about Arthur Abraham's blatant foul, all they wanted to talk about was Dirrell "pretending to be knocked out in order to steal the victory" despite winning on all scorecards and the fight not even being close.- Ward got away with a lot of FOULING - hitting while holding, hitting off the break and deliberately headbutting - during his earlier Super Six fights.
Unlike most European fighters, US fighters never get any credit outside their home country. He's "very boring", do u really think he'd sell outside of the US? Be smart, quit crying- Ward is a very boring, feather-fisted boxer who needs to resort to holding and fouling and needs to have all his fights in the USA.Comment

is that what he was fishing for? kind of pathetic if so
a fan can hate any fighter inspite of the color of their skin or their race or their nationality
Ward is boring as hell IMO and he fouls a ton. He has iffy power and isn't really dynamic enough to garner enough interest from me.
great guy and one of the nicer people you will ever meet
doesn't mean I have to like what he does in the ring thoughComment

I don't enjoy his style and dislike the fact that he's fought all his SS6 fights at home, but hate is too strong a word to use. I just don't particularly care for him, nor will I root for him in the Froch fight. I can appreciate his skills though, and it seems he's one of the nicer and more intelligent fighters out there. Plus, he's a Brit!Comment

Just cause you ain't rooting for the guy don't mean he's 'hated'.. The word 'hater' gets thrown around all the time. I don't understand why.
