Comments Thread For: Kelly Pavlik's Career Still in Limbo, No Answer Given

The question hung in the air like a firecracker.

How will Kelly Pavlik be remembered?

Cameron Dunkin, his former, present and future manager, took a second to mull that one over. [Click Here To Read More]

Poor Pavlik. What a public meltdown he had.

Pavlik is a mess mentally screwed up and has a bad alcohol problem. This poor soul needs professional help and guidance and his inept family of leeches isn't providing it. someone needs to put this poor kid in a hospital and get him help. sad to see there is no support or intelligence around Pavlik just takers.

Pavlik would benefit from an intervention and relocation, but I think he's just done.

Pavlik is wasting the best years of his life. Jeez he's only 29, it's a shame he can't rededicate himself and leave the sport on a high note. I don't think he understands that his stock has fallen a lot and he needs a couple of top notch wins to be considered elite again. Maybe his head is just not in the right place still.

Pavlik has PTSD. He wasn't made for a two-way war.

They mean his ESPN career I'm sure. Showtime is done with him and HBO won't take him. Maybe he can crawl up to the ESPN headquarters and beg.

It's amazing how quickly one can go from one of the most beloved fighters in the sport to ultra villain.

Kelly doesn't sound like a guy who just got out of rehab tbh. He sounds more bitter and angrier then when he went in. He also had a physical altercation with his brother after getting out (where his brother accused him of drinking). Anybody that knows someone who has just come out of rehab knows that they are usually quite reserved and more at peace (they call it surrendering). But alot of times alchoholics trade booze for drugs when they come out and aren't ready to quit. Kelly's actions seem to indicate he either hasn't quit using some substance or is on a "dry drunk". A dry drunk is when they're not using but they're still immulating the same actions and attitudes as if they were. Kelly still seems to be a mess. TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if a couple months down the line we read a headline from the media something to this affect... "Kelly admits to drinking/drugging in the days/months after leaving rehab", or "Kelly Pavlick arrested after getting in to a drunken brawl".

Time is precious Kelly, and yours is slowly slipping away from you.
