    Ike Quartey Undefeated???

I dont expect many people to agree with me on this one, but i think he is, i thought he bested oscar if not fought a draw wit him, and Vargas if hbo didnt suck Fernandos **** like they did kid diamond against casamayor, i also thought he won The fight against Lopez which was changed to a draw...In my opinion hes undefeated and just got shorted of Boxing Glory, Think about how many great fights we missed cause he was disgusted and took a 41/2 yr layoff, i just hope he can salvage some glory for his career that could have been one of the greatest in my opinion...

vargas beat him pretty badly IMO, i think the scorecards were like 116-112 117-111, granted i didn't c it though. DLH knocked him down twice also.

and he got knocked down against philips which is laffable lol

imo hes not that good, when he had his chances, he blew them

The Oscar fight was close, but the KD in the 12th sealed the deal.

Vargas clearly beat Quartay. He out punched and outlanded him by a significant margin, and clearly one more rounds.

You should watch that one again, it wasn't close.

I agree with most of what you say but I don't think he could of been one of the greatest. He was a really talented fighter kind of like Casamayor they both don't get the respect they deserve. He's still good, but he's definetly not as good as he was.

It's actually sad when you think about it, he DEFINETLY beat Vargas. That was a sure win but I guess HBO couldn't have a guy from Ghana as world champion of the world as opposed to an American.

I rated Quartey very high, he had so much talent it's pretty sad how he got screwed over in some of his big fights.

He fought Verno Phillips reccently, not Cool Vince.

thats ur opinion, but i just got done watchin the fight actually, and he hit vargas way harder, and vargas missed a lot of punchs, the crowd and hbo commentators is what got him that win...and if it wasnt that close why did one judge have a 1 point for vargas, u should watch it again, turn down the volume and pay attention to how he controlled the fight, dont get caught up in the hype bozo...sayin it wasnt close shows me u didnt pay attention, cause even if u thought vargas won ud know it was close...but like calabrese said he definately beat Vargas...

Verno is a STEP above journeyman though.
