People hating on Martinez and bringing that joke Pirog up, just goes to show you that boxing fans ***** about everything (no wonder boxing promoters don't take us seriously). Yes he's fighting a soft touch in Barker, but the guy has been fighting nothing but top competition in the last 2 years or so. He's looking to make some big money, and I think a fight with Chavez Jr. should happen because that will propel his name and bring a big even to the sport. There is nobody at 160 and under who I would favor against Martinez, including Floyd and especially Pacquiao, no matter who the guy fights people are going to complain.

Why the hate on Sergio??? He can possibly beat anyone from 147 to 168 including pac and maywether and people are pissed?? He gave us some good fights esp. In the pass 2 years and he wants to get a big money fight wit two of the best fighters on the planet. Plus he told mayweather he don't even want 50 percent of the money(even tho he wouldn't get it anyway). Dude is a beast!!! And his fights have been the most exciting fights in the past two years. Because people are using four fights against decent to good competition, one of which he lost, to overrate Sergio as some boxing messiah who represents everything right with the sport. It's out of freaking hand, it's every bit as bad as the people saying Pacquiao and Mayweather are the best fighters ever.

People bringing up the weight difference are a joke. Martinez can meet them both at 154, where both fighters have fought (well Pacquiao didn't really, but he could surely fight him at 154 if he smashed Margarito). Hagler fought Leonard and Hearns, Hopkins fought De La Hoya and Trinidad, it happens sometimes good smaller fighter move up to fight a good bigger fighter.
