Never saw a Pirog fight until today.

I was searching some other boxer and I stumbled upon this Pirog bout against Jacobs. I couldn't believe my eyes, he's alot like Sergio Martinez, but, a right-handed version.

Sergio needs to give up on pipe dreaming about a PAC or a Wifebeater fight. I think a Pirog - Sergio matchup would be very interesting.

What do you guys think ? How do you see a Sergio-Pirog fight play out. Throwdown your 2 cents and vote on the poll.

he doesn't fight like serg. serg is an out-boxer-puncher, and pirog is a come forward/defensive boxer puncher. i would love to see the fight though.

I see what you're sayin', but, Pirog does enough things that reminds me of Martinez.

not trying to nitpick, I'm with you on wanting to see the fight, but that's like saying all boxers do things that remind you of other boxers.

I've never been high on Pirog. I think he sucks too be honest. Dude's 31 years old and his best win came against a 21 year old prospect. Since he beat Danny Jacobs he's fought a total of 1 time.

Don't get me wrong though, the Middleweight Division sucks and I think it would be a solid fight for Martinez, considering the options he has.

Bro, to a degree you're right. But, would it be safe to say that Pirog out of today's current fighter is the closest boxer that reminds you most of Sergio.

Best fight for Martinez at 160. I like Pirogs aggressive, slick style.

These are the type of matchups that boxing fans should really be talkin' about, not the one that's going down in September.

A Pirog-Maravilla showdown has me salivating. It's a very intriguing matchup.

apart from being awkward to deal with, no, he doesn't remind me of serg.
