    Mayweather senior???Bad trainer for oscar???

When oscar use to fight on his toes, pouncin back and forth wit a jab he was great, and the left hook would spring out and tap ur chin b4 u seen what happen like the one he knocked oba Carr out wit, one of the best hooks i seen...Now hes fightin flat footed and in the pocket like floyd and hes takin to much punishment but that style is supposedly suppose to help his defense. in order to fight that style ur reflexs have to be superb, and i just dont think oscar is that type of fighter, I would like to see him wit Goosen or Maybe Mcgirt, possibly angelo dundee even, But hes not fightin the way hes suppose to, i think if he did fight that way against bernard he would have had a better chance, Im dissapointed that he picked Mayweather, I want the old oscar back...

The Mayweather style does not work for DLH. He gets hit like crazy with that style. All you have to do is look at Oscar's face after his fights against Vargas and Sturm and you will notice that he was tagged often.

It's Oscars faults for blaming his trainers instead of sticking with what has worked.

For example against trinidad and quartey... thats what worked for him, sure he ran out of gas but he should worked more on not running out of gas rather than trying to changed what worked so well.

Against Vargas the thing that really saved Oscar was reverting to the old stuff he had learned and putting both his hands up. But for as long as he was doing the one hand at his waist thing he was getting mauled.

i think that he should implement both styles, they both are effective to a certain point, things change in the middle of action sometimes so why not come in with both. the thing about Oscar and Mayweather's style of fighting is that Oscar really believes in it and says out loud that he feels comfortable fighting like that....he isnt going to change now, he's working himself out of the ring slowly, and into full time promoting. Oscar is the man, no doubt about that, he's made great decisions in making his career a hall of fame career, and he's about to take over in the promoting department. Golden Boy Promotions is going to be the biggest promotion company in a few years. Oscars smart, he's hired the best guys to help run his business, and he'll cut a fighter from the roster if the don't want to play ball, just ask Lazcano....
all in all, Oscar likes his style with Mayweather and isnt going to change, it's hard to see when you're the guy doing things, it's just easier for us to see from the outside. kind of like when your boy is dating a piece trash, you see it, but he doesn't till it's to late......

If you think Oscar has the energy to fight how he use to fight, you're sadly mistaken.

Energy all depends on ur work ethic and how hard u train, it has nothing to do with age, In my opinion Oscar can still fight the same way he use to, hes not that old...
