Comments Thread For: Tomoki Kameda Returns on September 24 in Mexico

Unbeaten world junior world champion, Tomoki Kameda, returns to action on September 24 in Mexico on a card being promoted by Canelo Promotions. Kameda's last two ring outings took place in Japan. Tomoki Kameda (#9 in the WBC), who spent nearly his entire pro and amateur career in Mexico, wants to capture a major world title like his brothers Koki and Daiki. With a professional record of 20 wins, and 12 by knockouts, the young boxer is currently training in Japan and plans to return to Mexico in the near future to finish up his camp.

What on earth is 'unbeaten world junior world champion'?

Putting that aside, is Tomoki really worth being mentioned here? He's done anything worthy of noting I guess...

Not a terribly hard puncher but he'lll be nursed along...what I don't like the few times I've seen him is he ends up fighting the the other guys style...he takes an awful lot of unnecessarry punches...
